What i think about the claims doctors make about what will extend or shorten one's life & how they do so in a one size fits all way, as well as the notion that one can live indefinitely.
I always hear that "according to expert docrors" one thing or another will "add years" to or shorten our lives, but we are all individuals, with different genes & epigenetic factors. Also, decade by decade, they change the story; bacon good or bad for you? White rice good or bad? Wheat bread good or bad? Coffee good or bad?
Such claims cannot apply broadly.
I enjoy coffee, chocolate, bread, & bacon. I am 30, 5'2", 130lbs.
I also exercise.
A strange new Puritanism
A strange new Puritanism in liberal western society...
I have bean hearing about the accusations of "sexual misconduct" among the top liberal men in our society, which seem to include everything from nonconsentual groping to flirting, all called "sexual harassment". This is in contrast to Islamic societies where women must cover up so as not to tempt men, & men are more powerful; in liberal society, men must supress all of their natural feelings no matter how the women behave & dress, & women are more powerful. I have been noticing a societal trend towards what I would call a New Puritanism, when it comes to sexual behavior, which may lead to the kind of segregation they have in Saudi Arabia.

What backlash?
When Muslims attack it never really hurts Muslim rights. When pissed off, white Americans attack non whites then all of a sudden all Whites are terrorists & we are third class citizens with no rights. It's because of the southern poverty law center, & how we have no rights groups.

Viking flag
Long ago, i watched a program on the travel channel about possible Viking excursions into North America. All the talk about Pointe Rosiee has reminded me. The program showed that there were rivers which the Vikings could have sailed deep into the continent. They then pointed out several native tribal flags & how one in particular resembled a Viking flag. I am searching for more info, so I wrote this blog post.
